Lone Star College–CyFair welcomes Douglas Ambrose, historian, author and speaker, for a day of Alexander Hamilton, Jan. 24.
The Harris County Public Library’s Lone Star College–CyFair Branch is proud to be the only Houston library (and one of three Texas libraries) to host the traveling exhibition “Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America” through Feb. 16.
In addition to the exhibition, the college is hosting numerous related community programs including a visit from Ambrose, author of “The Many Faces of Alexander Hamilton.”
Ambrose will discuss Alexander Hamilton and his influence on today’s America at the 10 a.m. L.I.F.E. program in the library, room 131. Another Hamilton presentation will be held at 11:30 a.m., also in the library, room 131. Then join the Democracy Book Club at 7 p.m. for a discussion with Ambrose about his book.
