Matilda the Musical is the multi-award winning musical, inspired by the book by Roald Dahl. Matilda is the story of an extraordinary girl genius armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination who dares to take a stand and change her destiny. With the help of her kindly teacher and a little magic, this miraculous girl proves that everyone has the power to change their story.
“Matilda the Musical is the perfect light-hearted, family-friendly play for summer theater,” said Director Cash Carpenter, LSC-North Harris theatre professor. “We are excited to open the theatre department to community actors for this production, and we look forward to new visitors to the theatre. We have a little magic in store for our guests!”
