Frankenstein comes to life at Lone Star College-North Harris as the LSC-North Harris drama department presents Nick Dear’s Frankenstein live on stage beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The production, adapted from the novel by Mary Shelley, is directed by John Cash Carpenter. “We all know the famous story, and it’s on full display in our presentation of Nick Dear’s Frankenstein,” said Carpenter. “Audience members will be treated to excellent actor portrayals, and advanced production design. This adaptation centers around the themes of social rejection, intellectual hubris, and the nascency of good and evil.”
Nick Dear’s Frankenstein is presented at the LSC-North Harris’ Performing Arts Theatre, located at 2700 W. W. Thorne Blvd. in Houston. Showtime is 8 p.m. each night Tuesday, Oct. 15 through Saturday, Oct. 19, with a 2 p.m. matinee available on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Admission tickets begin at $15. For more information visit LoneStar.edu/drama-dept-nharris.htm.
