Lone Star College-Kingwood will hold a Transfer Fair for anyone interested in earning their bachelor's or graduate degrees.
The free college fair, open to the community, will take place Tuesday, March 21 from 1-3 p.m. in the Student Conference Center. Colleges and universities across the state will attend to help people meet their academic goals.
"We are committed to helping our students and the community make a smooth transition from community college to a four-year university," said Nicole Keenan, LSC-Kingwood Dean of Student Development. "Instead of having students contact each school individually, we wanted to bring the schools to them."
Representatives from approximately 25 institutions will be on-site to provide information on transfer admissions, student services, financial aid and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring their transcripts to discuss their transfer options.
"This event will allow students and the public to 'shop around,' examine several options, collect materials, speak with a representative and decide which school suits their needs," said Keenan.
