HOUSTON (March 24, 2022) – Lone Star College’s medical programs rival those offered at four-year institutions.

At LSC-Kingwood, the dental hygiene, nursing, occupational therapy, and respiratory care programs rigorously train students on various facets of health care skills through class instruction, labs, and clinicals. The results lead to a continuous boast of high pass rates on state examinations.

“We are proud to offer health care programs that consistently achieve great success each year. These accomplishments are even more rewarding considering the changes that the courses and students have endured due to the pandemic,” said Dr. Ryan Chabarria, interim dean of biological and health sciences at LSC-Kingwood.
