Registration is under way for Lone Star College–Tomball’s popular summer youth programs, Kids on Campus and Teen Zone.
The Kids on Campus program for grades K-8 will be offered a both the main campus located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, and at the Lone Star College–Tomball Lone Star College–Willow Chase Center, 9449 Grant Road. The Teen Zone program for grades 9 through 12 will be offered only at the main campus in Tomball.
Both Kids on Campus and Teen Zone will be held during four sessions: June 4-15; June 18-June 29; July 2-13, July 16-27, and July 30-August 10, with both morning and afternoon classes available in each session.
Parents can register their children through Monday, July 30 at the following locations:
Lone Star College–Tomball Continuing Education Office, E-166 through July 30, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Lone Star College–Willow Chase Center, Saturdays, April 21 and May 12, 9am-1pm
Classes range from the traditional to the unusual. Some new classes featured this summer are: Amusement Part/Video Game Design, Ancient Civilization Series, Computer Art, Aquabots/007 Secret Agents, Gals’ Night Out, Guys’ Night Out, Flag Football Camp: Boys and Girls, Cake Decorating, Safety and Survival, and many more. Teen Zone courses will include Be a Broadway Star, It’s Your Business, Karate, Robotics-PROBE, Weight training and more.
Some of the other offerings this summer include Soccer Camp: Boys and Girls, Microsoft Paint, Yoga-Pilates, Digital Photography, Painting Pizzazz in addition to many others.
