Children ages 3-6 can enjoy learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) this December with the STEMtastic Literacy program at Lone Star College-CyFair.
In partnership with the Harris County Public Library’s LSC-CyFair Children’s Library, LSC-CyFair pre-service teachers will read and lead engaging activities that incorporate STEM concepts.
“Our teacher education students will have activities that encompass the stars, plant life, and even ooey, gooey experiments,” said Fay Lee, LSC-CyFair’s Lead Faculty for the Education Department.
The session will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 in the children’s library at 9191 Barker Cypress.
Parents must accompany children at the session, which is limited to 40 participants. All are asked to arrive an hour in advance to receive a session ticket.
