HOUSTON (June 9, 2020) – Prospective students and community members are invited to learn about the latest educational opportunities available at Lone Star College-North Harris during a virtual Open House on Tuesday, June 16, at 4 p.m.
The event will stream live on the LSC-North Harris Facebook page and cover a wide range of topics including:

“We are excited to have this opportunity to engage with the community about the options available to them through Lone Star College-North Harris,” said Ovi Galvan, dean of student services. “We realize that the current situation has many of our prospective students and community members wondering about our setup and operations, but we want to assure everyone that their educational goals do not have to be postponed. We are here to help. Our faculty and staff will take part in this interactive presentation to answer any questions attendees may have.”
Attendees will see photos and videos from campus events and programs to gain insight on more than 30 affordable and flexible programs across our four locations at LSC-North Harris, CHI LSC-North Harris School of Cosmetology, the LSC-Health Professions Building, and the new LSC-East Aldine Center.
One of the Open House hosts, Student Ambassador Jonan Navarro, said, “I’m proud to use this opportunity to tell people about my experience at Lone Star College-North Harris. As a student who has earned associate degrees and certifications, I’m excited to be among the first to earn a bachelor’s degree at Lone Star College-North Harris. I believe this is a place where everyone is welcome and can build a successful future."
