Lone Star College-CyFair is hosting two opportunities in November for community industry partners, as well as students, faculty and staff to comment on several workforce programs.
The programs to be reviewed this year are Welding, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Electronics Technology, Professional Office Technology (POFT,) Industrial Maintenance and Visual Communications.
The presentations will cover enrollments, productivity, successes, challenges, labor market data and employability of LSC-CyFair students as well as allow time for feedback about the programs, program redirection and future needs.
“We want to showcase the great work being done by faculty, directors and deans in these programs and gather input to contribute to their future success,” said Vice President of Student Learning Dr. Feleccia Moore-Davis. “These forums will be an annual event to help facilitate and solidify our commitment to academic excellence.”
The first Workforce Program Review Forums are set for 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 6 and Nov. 13 in the Technology Building, room 102, at 9191 Barker Cypress.
