Nithy Sevanthinathan (pictured right), Lone Star College System chief international officer, international programs and strategic global partnerships, accepts the IIE Andrew Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education. The award was presented by Institute of International Education President Allan Goodman at the recent IIE’s annual Best Practices in Internationalization Conference in New York. LSCS was recognized for creating innovative programs and services, specifically including its study abroad program, to make international opportunities accessible to community college students.
