A new career in computer networking or visual communication can begin with a visit to Lone Star College-CyFair’s Computer Information Technology and Visual Communication open house set Oct. 24.
The open house, held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Technology Building at 9191 Barker Cypress, will give attendees the opportunity to meet instructors, view demonstrations of various technologies and visit with advisors about program enrollment.
Information will be provided in the following areas:
- A+ certification, which covers pc hardware and software skills
- Cisco Networking Academy, which provides training for industry certifications in networking such as Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CCNA-Security and CCNA VoIP (voice over IP) and
- Visual Communication with information on the graphic arts and multimedia and video productions.
