Lone Star College Online students over the moon to successfully complete two missions for national NASA program
LSC-Online students have been selected to participate in the prestigious NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) program, which is designed to enhance students' STEM skills and prepare them for impactful careers in the industry.
Lone Star College-Montgomery Celebrated the 25th Anniversary of SWIRL Literature and Arts Journal
On September 19, 2024, Lone Star College-Montgomery welcomed members of the campus and the community to a momentous occasion celebrating the 25th anniversary of SWIRL, the campus literature and arts magazine. The event took place at the Mary Matteson-Parrish Art Gallery from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., inviting guests to honor the legacy of creativity that SWIRL has fostered over the years.
Lone Star College-Montgomery Honors Writing Talent at Annual WAC Journal Commendation Ceremony
Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Journal held a successful ceremony on Friday, September 13th, from 12 to 1 p.m. in the atrium of Building G. The annual WAC Journal Writing Commendation ceremony recognized student writing across various disciplines, with original works displayed in multiple genres and course categories.

Dr. De' Reese Reid-Hart is the fifth President of Lone Star College-Montgomery. Dr. Reid-Hart earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/ Pre-Law and a Master of Arts in Education Psychology, both from Eastern Illinois University. She holds a Doctoral degree in Education Leadership from National Louis University in Chicago.
