Montgomery Visiting Student Registration

Lone Star College-Montgomery is a great place to “visit” and supplement your credits. Take a class or two on-campus or remotely during the Summer or Fall semesters. Lone Star College-Montgomery offers flexible online, hybrid and on-campus classes to fit your degree program. Use the checklist below to get enrolled and registered for classes.

Step 1: Apply for Admission

Have you already completed the Apply Texas application? If yes, go in and add Lone Star College as a college option.
Otherwise, complete the online admissions application. You can apply any time with no application fee.

Step 2: Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

All incoming students must comply with the bacterial meningitis vaccination requirement unless they are exempt, taking online or hybrid classes. *Students 22 years of age or older do not need to complete the Bacterial Meningitis requirement.

Step 3: Transfer of Credits and Transcripts

Contact your home institution to confirm that LSC credit courses are transferable back to your home college or university.
Did you know? You can use your unofficial transcript for initial advising and registration purposes. Our Admissions office can assist with reviewing your transcript(s) and processing your registration request.
Be sure to send Lone Star College an official transcript from your current college/university, at the completion of the term. Official PDF Transcripts can be emailed directly from your college or university to registrar@lonestar.edu

Common Service Indicators/Holds

A new student orientation hold may show up on your checklist. If you are transferring in from another college or university, you can skip this step.

Need help?

Visting students may need to contact our Admissions office to bypass online holds. To bypass new student orientation, TSI testing, and First Time in College course work for new students, please ensure you have a copy of your unofficial transcript and contact our Admissions office for registration assistance.
