• Lone Star College System announces Jack Kent Cooke scholarship winners - May 06, 2013
  Three Lone Star College System students have been awarded scholarships from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program, the largest private scholarship for community college transfer students in the country.
• Lone Star College System Trustees to hold regular meeting on May 2 - April 29, 2013
  The Lone Star College System Board of Trustees will hold its workshop and regular meeting on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the board room of the Lone Star College Training and Development Center, 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX  77381.
• LSCS plans expanded security features with bond referendum funds - April 23, 2013
  Upgraded security and enhanced campus safety features at Lone Star College System are projects included in the upcoming $497.7 million bond referendum.
• Lone Star College offers free Drilling Support Services program - April 11, 2013
  HOUSTON (April 11, 2013) – Lone Star College System is offering a new, free program at LSC-University Park beginning April 22 that will train students to be a drilling services support technician in just 10 weeks.  
• Lone Star College System Alert - April 09, 2013
  The LSC-CyFair campus will reopen for regularly scheduled classes and activities this morning (Wednesday). Counselors will be available to talk with students and employees and will be visiting the classes of those students who were victims as well. LSC-CyFair President, Audre Levy, and counselors will also be holding debriefing sessions about the incident for faculty and students.
