Maverick Outpost Outreach Activities facilitate meaningful engagement and communication with the communities we serve. These activities are designed to raise awareness, educate, and inform about specific topics, products, and services that we provide toward student success.

- Maverick Outpost Activities

The Maverick Academic Pathway is designed for students at participating high schools and the Conroe Community. Participants will gain success skills to better navigate college.
The Maverick Academic Pathway provides students with the following services:
- Admissions Guidance
- Career and Degree Exploration and Discovery
- Financial Aid Guidance
- Financial Literacy Knowledge
- Academic Coaching and Advising
Students with at least one of the following criteria are encouraged to participate:
- Hispanic
- First-Generation students (neither parent/guardian completed a degree)
- Students considering attending Lone Star College
- Students planning to transfer after completing a degree at Lone Star College
- Students with an academic need
The Maverick Outpost is funded by the U.S. Department of Education Hispanic Serving Institution Title V Grant.
