The LSC-Kingwood Culture Impact Action Committee is a diverse team of students, faculty, staff and administrators committed to fostering a culture of inclusion by assessing policies, practices, and leading initiatives that enable the college to thrive and achieve its mission.

The mission of the Lone Star College-Kingwood Culture Impact Action Committee is to advocate for equity and foster inclusion by championing the recruitment, retention, and well-being of a diverse student body, staff and campus community. Our goal is to cultivate an environment where every dimension of diversity is embraced.

What We Do
Meetings
The committee meets the second Thursday of each month from 12:30-1:20 p.m.
How to Get Involved with the Committee
Faculty, staff and students are welcome to join the Culture Impact Action Committee and get involved. To serve on or learn more about the committee and the work we do, you could do the following:
- Become an active committee member, agreeing to attend meetings and actively participating in work groups and sub-committees to advance our efforts to foster an inclusive culture.
- Become a contributing member – contributing members may participate in special projects or serve on subcommittees and attend meetings periodically.
- Drop-in and visit.
