Lone Star College Testing Centers provide a variety of testing services to students including, but not limited to Placement Exams, Make-up Exams/LSC-Online Exams, Correspondence Exams, Challenge exams Foreign Language Exams and Exams for students approved for ADA Accommodations. No testing will begin within the last hour of closing.

Remote via WebEx with a Lone Star College Proctor

Note: Please use your Lone Star College email account when contacting the
department or submitting Testing forms.

1. Complete the Remote Test Form Remote Testing Form
2. Submit form to HN-Testing@LoneStar.edu.
3. Pay through Storefront; Select LSC-Houston North for payment.
4. Submit payment receipt to HN-Testing@LoneStar.edu.
5. LSC-Houston North Testing will coordinate scheduling test after payment receipt is received.

A PHOTO ID is required when testing.

FREE Tutoring: for all students enrolled at Lone Star College.  All students currently have 90 min of online tutoring with Brainfuse for the rest of the semester and access to Tutor Match which utilizes the campus tutors. In addition, students can schedule one on one WebEx Tutor Sessions.

  Online - Offered through Brainfuse and Tutor Match (student must be enrolled in at least one (1) fully online class). Brainfuse provides students the ability to schedule a live online tutoring session with a LSC tutor for assistance in their course. Students can access Brainfuse by logging into D2L and clicking the Brainfuse link. Brainfuse Tutor Match (Accessing Brainfuse Instructions)

  WebEx Tutoring Session - Student can choose to schedule an appointment with an LSC-Houston North tutor using WebEx Video Communication System. A WebEx tutoring session will be very similar to a face-to-face session, except the session is conducted through WebEx. Tutoring Services include:

  • TSI Practice
  • Writing
