LSC-Houston North Fairbanks offers programs within the Energy, Manufacturing & Construction and the Engineering, Mathematics, & Sciences area of study. These programs will prepare you for a career as an engineering or lab technician and are also designed to transfer to a 4-year institution. Currently, courses required for the associate of arts and associate of science and an expansive English as a Second Language (ESOL) program are also available.
LSC-Houston North Fairbanks opened in 2002. This location has a diverse student population that represents more than 60 countries.
LSC-Houston North Fallbrook will offer programs within the Arts, Humanities, Communication and Design, and Computer/Digital Technology areas of study. In addition, this location will offer an Associate of Arts in Teaching which is primarily designed to transfer to a 4-year institution in preparation for a career in K-12 education. Courses required for the associate of arts and associate of science will also be available.

LSC-Houston North Greenspoint offers programs within the Business & Professional Services area of study. These programs will prepare you for careers in management and administration in many kinds of businesses and organizations. The Business Field of Study program is also designed to transfer to a 4-year institution. Courses required for the associate of arts and preparation classes for the General Education Development Test (GED) are also available.
LSC-Houston North Greenspoint began offering classes at this center in 2004. This location includes credit and non-credit programming specifically designed to meet community needs. Lone Star College-Houston North Greenspoint is a state-of-the-art, full-service location designed to serve the greater Greenspoint area. We are located is located on a convenient Metro route 86 near I-45, south of the Beltway on the feeder, just east of Greenspoint Drive. The facility is a three-story building with a two-story annex that offers a variety of educational services to the community.
LSC-Houston North Victory offers programs within the Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, and Public Safety Human Services areas of study. In addition, this location offers an Associate of Arts with a focus of study in Criminal Justice. The Criminal Justice program will prepare you for a range of careers such as private investigator or correctional or probation officer. Courses required for the associate of arts are also available. This location currently offers associate of arts core courses and certificates in Welding Technology and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
For over a decade, we were known as the Carver Center until breaking ground in 2010 on 4141 South Victory Drive. We are located on the city’s Northwest side – in the heart of the “proud” Acres Homes community.

Our ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) program at our Fairbanks location prepares students to successfully speak and write English for college or work. We offer courses in reading, writing, oral communication, and grammar.

At LSC-Houston North, we understand that life doesn’t stop while you attend college. That’s why we are here to help, whether it’s funding for classes, textbooks, technology, or simply trying to keep a stable home environment for your family. We want you to succeed for a better tomorrow. We believe that with the right structure and adequate support, our students are capable of succeeding academically and professionally. For this reason, we have Community Assistance and Resources for Everyone (C.A.R.E.) Program that has Care Centers located at all LSC-Houston North Locations.
Communities In Schools are a nationwide network of passionate professionals working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Communities in Schools (CIS) is dedicated to serving students and is adjusting to the current circumstances in our community. We continue to provide services and are currently responding to students through email and phone communication. My current CIS phone number is 281-545-7562. CIS will respond to communication during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Are you a current LSC-Houston North student? Lone Star College-Houston North is partnering with the Houston Food Bank to bring our students 60lbs of fresh food twice a month!
Students must be enrolled for 6 credit hours at LSC-Houston North to qualify. Food is free of charge and drives will be held twice per month at one of our four LSC-Houston North locations.

Financial aid helps students and their families pay for college. This financial assistance covers educational expenses including tuition, fees, books, and supplies. There are several types of financial aid that may be combined into your financial aid package.

A social doesn’t mean a work permit: A work authorization SSN does not qualify the student to be eligible to apply for FAFSA. Students with work authorization only SSN are eligible to apply for TASFA.
We highly encourage you to take full advantage of scholarship opportunities available to you! Once you have completed your registration you can email Fredrick.N.Antwine@LoneStar.edu with your student ID number in order for him to determine your eligibility.

Faculty Senate Student Textbook Fund
The Faculty Senate emergency fund provides up to $300 per student for class needs (textbooks, lab supplies, etc.) for students enrolled at LSC-HN and not receiving financial aid. There are other resources available to assist students receiving financial aid.

Students will then be provided an application and writing prompt to submit. Funds are limited – Apply early!!!
LSC-Houston North Library Services offer free online tutoring services for all students enrolled at Lone Star College. All students currently have 90 min of online tutoring with Brainfuse for the rest of the semester and access to Tutor Match which utilizes the campus tutors. In addition, students can schedule one on one WebEx Tutor Sessions.
Lone Star College Testing Centers provide a variety of testing services to students including, but not limited to Placement Exams, Make-up Exams/LSC-Online Exams, Correspondence Exams, Challenge exams Foreign Language Exams and Exams for students approved for ADA Accommodations.
The LSC-Houston North of Student Life endorses our vision by implementing co-curricular enrichment opportunities and establishing engaging relationships across our college. This affords our students a direct connection to institutional and community resources which bestows experiential learning and leadership opportunities to ensure our students success beyond the classroom.
