LSC-Houston North Fairbanks offers programs within the Energy, Manufacturing & Construction and the Engineering, Mathematics, & Sciences area of study. These programs will prepare you for a career as an engineering or lab technician and are also designed to transfer to a 4-year institution. Currently, courses required for the associate of arts and associate of science and an expansive English as a Second Language (ESOL) program are also available.

LSC-Houston North Fallbrook will offer programs within the Arts, Humanities, Communication and Design, and Computer/Digital Technology areas of study. In addition, this location will offer an Associate of Arts in Teaching which is primarily designed to transfer to a 4-year institution in preparation for a career in K-12 education. Courses required for the associate of arts and associate of science will also be available.

LSC-Houston North Greenspoint offers programs within the Business & Professional Services area of study. These programs will prepare you for careers in management and administration in many kinds of businesses and organizations. The Business Field of Study program is also designed to transfer to a 4-year institution. Courses required for the associate of arts and preparation classes for the General Education Development Test (GED) are also available.
LSC-Houston North Greenspoint began offering classes at this center in 2004. This location includes credit and non-credit programming specifically designed to meet community needs. Lone Star College-Houston North Greenspoint is a state-of-the-art, full-service location designed to serve the greater Greenspoint area. We are located is located on a convenient Metro route 86 near I-45, south of the Beltway on the feeder, just east of Greenspoint Drive. In addition, this location offers an Associate of Arts with a focus of study in Criminal Justice. The Criminal Justice program will prepare you for a range of careers such as private investigator or correctional or probation officer. Courses required for the associate of arts are also available. This location currently offers associate of arts core courses and certificates in Welding Technology and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
For over a decade, we were known as the Carver Center until breaking ground in 2010 on 4141 South Victory Drive. We are located on the city’s Northwest side – in the heart of the “proud” Acres Homes community.

Houston Food Bank Food ScholarshipAre you a current LSC-Houston North student? Lone Star College-Houston North is partnering with the Houston Food Bank to bring our students 60lbs of fresh food twice a month!
Students must be enrolled for 6 credit hours at LSC-Houston North to qualify. Food is free of charge and drives will be held twice per month at one of our four LSC-Houston North locations.

Scholarships
There are scholarships available to you for attending LSC-Houston North. Attached are the steps to apply.
We highly encourage you to take full advantage of scholarship opportunities available to you! Once you have completed your registration you can email Fredrick.N.Antwine@LoneStar.edu with your student ID number in order for him to determine your eligibility.Due to limited funding the Houston North Scholarships are on a first come first served basis so please do not delay in enrolling. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact VC-FinancialAid@LoneStar.edu.
Faculty Senate Student Textbook Fund
The Faculty Senate emergency fund provides up to $300 per student for class needs (textbooks, lab supplies, etc.) for students enrolled at LSC-HN and not receiving financial aid. There are other resources available to assist students receiving financial aid.
Interested students should submit an Assistance Request form at: bit.ly/hncare
Students will then be provided an application and writing prompt to submit.

Tutoring & Testing
LSC-Houston North Library Services offer free online tutoring services for all students enrolled at Lone Star College. All students currently have 90 min of online tutoring with Brainfuse for the rest of the semester and access to Tutor Match which utilizes the campus tutors. In addition, students can schedule one on one WebEx Tutor Sessions.
