You may review your schedule on your myLoneStar account by going to:
- "Student"
- "Manage Classes"
- "View my Classes" (left side of the monitor)
What books do I need?
To find book/s that you will need, click on the class and then on “Books”. Our campus bookstore can also assist you – visit LoneStar.edu/Bookstore to find out more!
Who is my professor?
You will find your professor's name on the schedule.
How do I log in to my online class?
If you are enrolled in an online class, you will need to complete the D2L orientation to access your online class. On your account, click on LSC Online, then on Brightspace D2L. If you do not complete the D2L orientation, you will not have access to your online class/es.
Where is my in-person class?
For in-person classes, please familiarize yourself with the campus prior to the first day of class. Please review the Kingwood campus map by visiting LoneStar.edu/Maps-Kingwood.
What is my balance?
Log in to your LSC account:
- Click on “Student”
- Click on “Financial Account”
- Click on “Make Payments” to pay

Foster Care
Students who are or have been under the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) conservatorship, as well as those who have been adopted from DFPS, may be eligible for a tuition waiver. Always review your schedule to verify that you have enrolled successfully. To review your schedule, click on “View My Classes." If it says “Enrolled,” you are enrolled.
Need to drop a class?
You may drop through your myLoneStar account before classes begin.
To drop, go to:
- “Student”
- “Manage Classes”
- “Drop classes” (left of the monitor)
- Select classes
- Follow instructions

Emergency Preparedness
There are many resources available on topics such as campus safety, lockdown drills, flooding, and other emergency preparedness. To report an emergency, call x5911 or 291-290-5911 (for campus emergencies) or call 9-1-1 (for medical or fire emergencies). For more information, visit LoneStar.edu/Emergency-Management.
Infectious Disease Reporting
It is important that all students, faculty, staff, and community members work together to reduce the spread of infectious diseases by engaging in prevention, intervention, and collaborative partnerships. Lone Star College Police
The Lone Star College Police Department provides a full range of community services, including safety escorts after dark, motorist assists, and community education events. Food Distribution
The LSC-Kingwood Coyote Cupboard is partnering with Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) to provide a contactless process for distributing food to our students, employees, and community. Food distributions are held every other Tuesday from 1pm-2 pm Visit LoneStar.edu/mobile-food-pantry to register for pickup.
