Roy Turner has taught English at Lone Star College-Montgomery since 2015 and has served as Department Chair for ESOL and Languages from 2018 to 2022. He currently serves as the Interim Dean of Instruction for the BELS division. Roy earned a PhD in English from the University of New Mexico, an MA in English from Brigham Young University, and a BA in English and Italian from Brigham Young University. He previously taught at BYU-Idaho and Central New Mexico Community College, where he served as a department chair and as program coordinator for developmental studies.
