Welcome to Lone Star College-Tomball, home of the Timberwolves! We are glad that you would like to join us as a new college student. You will notice that we offer a variety of classes and flexible schedule options including on-campus, hybrid (combination of on-campus and online), and online classes that fit your time and program.

LSC-Tomball New Student Registration Checklist
A new student is a student who has never enrolled and/or registered for classes at any Lone Star College campus.
Have you already completed the Apply Texas application? If yes, go in and add Lone Star College as a college option.
Otherwise, complete the online admissions application. You can apply any time with no application fee.

- All incoming students must comply with the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirements unless they are exempt, taking online or hybrid classes. *Students 22 years of age or older do not need to complete the Bacterial Meningitis requirement.
- Our Admissions department can assist you with this requirement hold. Contact them via the Need Help information listed below.

- Complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). The PAA must be completed prior to taking the TSIA2 Assessment and is available online. Click here to access the Online PAA.
- Provide your high school transcript, college/university transcript, SAT, ACT or Texas Success Initiative (TSI) scores to the Admissions Office before registering for classes.
- If you don’t have any of those available, visit the Testing Center to schedule a test or contact our Testing Center at TCTesting@LoneStar.edu to take the TSI.

- All first time in college students are required to complete New Student Orientation before registering for classes. An on-demand Orientation option can be accessed online through the Admissions tab in myLonestar.edu.
- If you are transferring in from another college or university, you can skip this step. Contact New Student Orientation via the Need Help information listed below to assist you with this hold.

- Meet with an advisor to discuss your degree or certificate program and get a list of classes to register for. Contact an LSC-Tomball Academic Advisor today.

- EDUC 1300 is required for most programs. Please verify with your advisor if you are unsure of your status.
- Payment due dates vary by semester.
