Welcome to Lone Star College-Tomball Admissions & Records! The Admissions and Records office supports students on their journey to a better future and helps to navigate students through the admissions process. Our department manages all student records which include residency, profile updates, transcripts, and education verifications amongst other services. Records

The Admissions and Records office performs a variety of record changes and updates. Documentation may be required to make changes to your student profile. Please select the record you are trying to change to see a list of acceptable documentation. Visit the LSC Catalog for a detailed list of acceptable documentation. 

 

To make a date of birth correction, please submit one of the following documents: 

•    Driver’s license 
•    State ID
•    Passport 

You may submit these documents in person, via email, or Live Chat. If you are emailing the documents to TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu, please include the following subject line, "Date of Birth Correction - STUDENT ID NUMBER." This will ensure timely correction of your records. 

The following documents are necessary to correct or add a social security number: 

•    Government issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) 
•    Social Security card 

You may submit these documents in person, via email, or Live Chat. If you are emailing the documents to TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu, please include the following subject line, "SSN (Addition or Correction) - STUDENT ID NUMBER." This will ensure timely correction of your records. 

To make a change to your name the following documents are required: 

•    Government issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) 
•    Social Security card with the correct name

You may submit these documents in person, via email, or Live Chat. If you are emailing the documents to TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu, please include the following subject line, "Name Change - STUDENT ID NUMBER." This will ensure timely correction of your records. 

A verification of enrollment for the current semester can only be processed after the Official Day of Record has passed. Please allow 24 business hours for processing. A government issued photo ID is required to process a verification of enrollment. 

You may request a verification of enrollment in person, via email, or Live Chat. If you are requesting via email, send your request to TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu, please include the following subject line, "Verification of Enrollment - STUDENT ID NUMBER" and a copy of your government issued photo ID. This will ensure timely processing of your request. 

If the "See Residency Official" hold has populated on your account, the following documents are necessary to release the hold:

•    Government issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) 
•    Mail in the student's name addressed to the home or mailing address we have on the student's account 

Documents can be submitted in person, via email, or Live Chat. When sending documents via email, to TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu, please include the following subject line, "Residency Official Hold - STUDENT ID NUMBER" to ensure timely processing of your request. 

To inquire about the documents needed to update your residency status, please contact us at  TC-Admissions@lonestar.edu and include the subject line "Residency Adjustment - STUDENT ID NUMBER." 

Transcripts

Lone Star College accepts official transcripts from high schools, home schools, and accredited college institutions.

High School transcripts should be submitted to Lone Star College upon high school graduation. College transcripts are required from all institutions attended.

Official Lone Star College transcripts may be requested through GetMyTranscript.com


Registration & Records Support

Throughout the admissions and enrollment process, you may need to submit additional documentation to fulfill requirements for enrollment or to update your records.

All forms and submissions can be made by completing and sending forms from your myLoneStar student email account to Admissions and Records at TC-Admissions@Lonestar.edu or visiting our office in South 105.
