Iesheia Wilson was elected to the Lone Star College Board of Trustees to represent District 3 in November 2020. As a Houston native who grew up in the Carverdale neighborhood, Iesheia has a strong passion for serving her fellow community members.

She graduated from Cypress Falls High School in 1999 and pursued higher education at DeVry University and later Lone Star College-CyFair, where she received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting in 2019. Professionally, Iesheia serves as the accountant for Willie’s Transportation, her family’s trucking company, as well as the office manager for Lords Chimney, a local chimney and fireplace service company.

Iesheia’s workplace experience complements the many hours she spends volunteering and giving back to those in her local context. At her church, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist in Acres Homes, Iesheia serves the youth and children as a leader and a mentor. She is also a member of Carverdale Civic Club in her neighborhood. One of Iesheia’s passions is to ensure her community members know that Lone Star College is there to help them succeed. In doing so, Iesheia continues to focus on facilitating the teamwork necessary to help the entire community thrive. 

Iesheia and her husband, Travon Wilson, enjoy spending time together with their family and friends.
