Scholarships and Financial Aid Transfer Information
Lone Star College-CyFair Transfer Services offers the support and resources students may need during the transfer process. We offer information within our Transfer Center, host representatives at our Transfer Center daily as well as at our Transfer Fairs each semester.
Financial Aid Transfer Planning
Student financial aid does not directly transfer between colleges. Instead, each college/university will recalculate your eligibility based on the information received from your FAFSA. The amounts may differ due to each institutions financial aid policies and availability of funds.
Students are only eligible to receive financial aid from one institution at a time. While it may be possible to take classes at Lone Star College and another college/university at the same time, students must work closely with financial aid at each institution to determine which school to request financial aid through.
Students are strongly encouraged to reach out to the Financial Aid office with their intended university for additional details and Financial Aid application instructions and deadlines.
