There may be items you need to complete prior to test day. See below for more details on specific exams.
Please Note: Academic and Placement Testing exams, such as TSIA2 and Accuplacer Math, do NOT require an appointment.
- A tangible, valid photo identification is required for all testing. We cannot accept a photo on your telephone. We cannot accept expired ID.
- All Pearson VUE exams, must be scheduled directly through the Pearson VUE website.
- Pearson VUE exams have specific ID requirements. Click the yellow box above for more information.
- No testing will begin within one hour of closing. It is the Examinee’s responsibility to arrive early enough before closing time to finish an exam.
- Please do not bring children; they cannot be accommodated or left unattended while testing.
- Exams with virtual proctoring options will incur an additional proctoring fee paid directly to the 3rd party company, not Lone Star College.

Exam Details/Instructions on how to Schedule
- Students with accommodations for testing in a private room, use the "schedule an appointment" link to find available times.
- Students must contact the instructor to ensure exam will be sent to the Testing Center prior to arrival.
- No appointment needed for students with testing accommodations other than a private room and/or approved make-up exams.

- Most exams are 3 hours unless otherwise stated. Be sure to check your exam length before scheduling your exam on the Licensing Exam site.
- NOTE: If you decide to retest on the same day, be sure to select the option that includes retesting on the scheduling page to ensure there is enough time for both exams in one day.

- Go to the Online Payment site to pay the $25 proctor fee. Payment can also be made in person at the Business Office on the day of the exam. If you decide to retest on the same day, no additional proctor fee will be required. All retests on a different day will be charged an additional $25 proctor fee.
- A valid (unexpired) driver’s license with photo AND the candidate approval letter will be required on test date. You may bring a printed version or email a copy to UPAC@LoneStar.edu

- Go to the Online Payment site to pay the $25 proctor fee. Payment can also be made in person at the Business Office on the day of the exam.
- Bring a valid (unexpired) government issued photo ID AND a valid (unexpired) ONLINE EXAM ELIGIBILITY FORM on test day!

Testing Options:
You must complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) prior to testing. This is a state-mandated task. Visit - https://practice.accuplacer.org/login and create an Accuplacer account. Select the third option: PRE-ASSESSMENT and complete the ELAR and Math practice questions. Once the PAA is completed, students will receive an email confirming their completion of the PAA. Make sure to have a copy of the certificate of completion, or the confirmation email, when you come in to test. (*Accuplacer Next Generation Math is exempt.)
