Each year the Golf Tournament hosts nearly 250 golfers from all over LSC's 1,400 square mile service area to support student scholarships, enhance the local workforce, and make our community a better place to live and work. The tournament has gotten so large over the years that it takes place over two courses – the Tournament Course and the Palmer Course – at The Woodlands Country Club, located in the award-winning, master-planned community of The Woodlands, Texas, just 28 miles north of downtown Houston.

Tournament Course ~ designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge
This course hosts a maximum of 20 foursomes. Winding through the village of Grogan’s Mill, the overall design of the Tournament Course promotes the feeling of tranquility, with well-integrated ponds, lakes, natural trees, and pristine landscaping. The Tournament Course also serves as host to The Insperity Invitational, considered one of the best venues annually on The Champions Tour.
Palmer Course ~ designed by Arnold Palmer
This course hosts a maximum of 54 foursomes. Featuring 27 holes of undulating and mounded terrain, surrounded by challenging bunkers and intricate water hazards, it offers a challenge for even the best golfers. The original 18 holes (King and General nines) opened in 1990, the third nine (Deacon) opened for play in 1995. Each hole offers a new challenge, as the course was carved out of the tall Texas pines, making it an overall favorite for golfers of all skill levels.
