To begin preparing more young students at an earlier age for success after high school graduation, Lone Star College is welcoming all 9th through incoming 12 graders from any local high school to our LSC- Kingwood Summer Enrichment Institute.
This program provides an intense four-day experience on the Lone Star College-Kingwood campus from June 9th through June 12th, 2025, in which participants will be engaged in meaningful activities designed to prepare them for life beyond high school. These activities will be scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The institute offers a range of impactful workshops, covering essential topics such as leadership, cultural heritage, life skills, interview etiquette, and college preparedness. Over the course of this four-day event, participants will also have numerous opportunities to engage with inspiring community role models who are dedicated to supporting their success and personal growth throughout the Summer Enrichment Institute.
Not only will attendees develop skills that will lead them to brighter futures, but attendees will also develop connections to leaders who can serve as mentors.
The Summer Enrichment Institute provides a valuable opportunity for young individuals to engage in educational experiences at Lone Star College-Kingwood. Dedicated to empowering students for successful and fulfilling lives, the college invites 9th graders through incoming high school seniors to apply. This program is designed to extend the college’s commitment to student success, inspiring future leaders and role models to pursue their academic and personal growth during the summer.
