We are very happy you have chosen Lone Star College as the gateway to your U.S. education. We are confident that your experience here will be a positive one.
We are authorized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to admit eligible students on an F-1 visa to degree-seeking programs. If you wish to attend Lone Star on an F-1 visa, your first step is to apply for admission. Our college consists of seven main campuses in the Houston metro area.
Enrollment at any of our campuses involves four processes: Admissions, Visa Approval, Orientation, and Course Registration.
Admission

Applying for F-1 Student Admissions to Lone Star College requires completing the online ApplyTexas Application and the Admissions Checklist based on your application type.
Visa Approval

There are approximately 3,000 international students from over 100 countries on various visa types attending Lone Star College. An F-1 visa is usually required to come to study in the United States.
Orientation

F-1 Students, International Student Orientation are held before the start of the spring and fall semesters at each campus. Non-F-1 Students simply sign-up for New Student Orientation.
