The Lone Star College-University Park Humanities Department offers transferable courses that explore culture and values, introducing students to history, literature, music, philosophy and arts across the ages and around the world. A valuable addition to any degree plan, humanities studies emphasize critical thought and cultural awareness, skills that benefit students not only in future classes, but in future careers as well.

Courses may be taken out of sequence, so students can begin exploring creative expression and the human condition in any or all of LSC-University Park’s online or face-to-face humanities classes.
