2024 Runoff Election
The Runoff Election for Lone Star College System Board of Trustees District 1 will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024. For polling locations visit Harris Votes.
Lone Star College Board Policy Section I.H.2.17 says, “A candidate receiving a majority of the votes cast for a Trustee position shall be declared elected. If no candidate receives a majority, then the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall run against each other for the position in a run-off election.” No candidate in the November 5, 2024 Election for District 1 received a majority of the votes cast; therefore, a runoff election was ordered by the Board of Trustees.
