Designs in Print is a student-focused initiative launched in 2012. It offers Lone Star College-North Harris Visual Communications students an opportunity to gain real-world experience working on college-related design projects. Designs in Print offers graphic design services to many of the college's student organizations as well as campus departments with an ongoing need for graphic design services. The students acquire in-depth knowledge of the design and production process, develop the skills needed for client and printer relations, and build a professional portfolio. Designs in Print also works closely with the college's Office of Public Relations to identify projects and ensure all designs comply with the college's branding guide.
