THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.99% AND WILL INCREASE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $2.50 (PER $100).

LSC Property Tax Exemptions to Eligible Homeowners

$5,000 or 8% of the market value, whichever is greater

$75,000 to persons 65 years or older, and disabled persons
