Required Advising Sessions

According to Senate Bill 1189, students who have completed a cumulative total of 30 or more semester credit hours, must meet with an academic advisor to complete a degree plan.

Students who have completed 30SCH must attend a required advising session/appointment BEFORE they can register for the following term.

They will be contacted by our homeschool advisor and will need to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor for a required advising session.

New Dual Credit Student Orientation

Are you new to dual credit as a homeschool student?  Do you feel overwhelmed or nervous about being a new dual-credit college student?  We are here to help!!  This Orientation will help you put your mind at ease before stepping foot into your first class.  We will present a College 101 session, teach you how to navigate your student account, provide information on the D2L online learning platform, share student resources, and include an in-depth tour of key areas around campus and talk with directors in those areas.

Session Offerings:  This event usually takes place a week before the first day of class and lasts for 3 hours.  Contact our office for a date and time.  281-655-3621
