Classroom Beautification Project

The Lone Star College North Harris Mathematics Department has embarked on a project to beautify its mathematics classrooms with inspirational wall decor to enhance the aesthetic of the classroom environment. We desire to inspire student success by providing a nurturing and encouraging learning environment. We believe student success is bolstered by the enthusiastic facilitation of learning through our instructors as well as by providing a hospitable and motivational learning environment for our students.

With a vision and mission to bring life to the walls of our mathematics classrooms so that if the walls can talk, the walls speak encouragement to our students. The Mathematics Department is working, by support of Lone Star College System Foundation grant funding, to make this happen room-by-room and we look forward to a future where all our mathematics classrooms talk to our students saying . . . “Yes, You Can!”
