LSC-Kingwood Summer Bridge

Not sure if college is for you? Test it out during our Summer Bridge program at Lone Star College-Kingwood July 11-August 18, 2024.

This program offers one college-level class, leadership workshops, Math and English prep, lunch, textbook, and lots of fun activities. LSC-Kingwood students will be here to share their experiences, serve as mentors and give you the real deal about college life.

We get it. There is a lot to think about. College is a big investment, and you may not know where to start, but that’s why we are here.  Let us help you. We will show you how to find money for college, who to go to when you need assistance we’ll make new friends and have some fun along the way.

Our Summer Bridge program is limited to 50 students. Apply today if you are a 2024 high school senior at the following: New Caney HS, Porter HS, Splendora HS, Cleveland, HS, Douglass, Humble HS, Kingwood HS, K-Park HS, Summer Creek HS, Atascocita HS, PACE, MacArthur HS, and Homeschool students.

*All Summer Bridge applicants will need to complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA or TAFSA application. Students will be able to use their awarded financial aid to cover the tuition, fees, and books for the Summer Bridge program. Lone Star College will provide free lunch and activity expenses.

In addition, students who apply from New Caney ISD, Splendora ISD, or Porter ISD, must also complete the EMCID Scholarship application form.
