• Satisfies the lower division (freshman and sophomore level) requirements for a bachelor's degree leading to initial Texas teacher certification.
• Qualifies students to become a professional teacher's aide.

With an earned Bachelor's degree and a reasonable investment of time and funds, the Alternative Teacher Certification Program allows students to become a certified teacher in Texas.
