The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. There are 2,900 colleges that grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams. Visit the College Board Web site to find exam descriptions and other information. As of July 1, 2010, the CLEP examination fee is $77, with the preferred payment method being a credit card. You pay this fee in the assessment center.
The optional essay fee is $10. Lone Star College–Tomball charges an administrative fee of $15. You can pay these fees at the bursar's office. Please bring your receipt to the assessment center.
