Our Purpose

Provide consultation and support to faculty, staff and administration in assisting students who display concerning or disruptive behaviors:

• Recommend appropriate intervention strategies
• Connect students with needed campus and community resources

Roles and Responsibilities

Engage in early intervention and support that prevents a behavioral concern from rising to the level of a threat or crisis

• Set a standard for reporting and assessing behavioral concerns through professional development training programs for employees
• Provide consultation, education and support to faculty, staff, and administration in assisting students who display disconcerting or disruptive behaviors
• To support student success by proactively promoting a safe environment
• Recommend appropriate intervention strategies and/or referrals when needed
• Connect students with needed campus and community resources
