The Admissions Center is the first stop on your enrollment journey. Here you will receive information regarding the application and admissions process as well as placement testing, orientation requirements and important deadlines for registration.

Academic Advising (B13.200)

The office of Academic Advising is available to answer questions regarding course selection, degree plans, transfer information, information regarding graduation requirements and much more! Advisors can help veterans and international students with their unique needs as well.

We are unable to provide comprehensive academic advising services over the phone and strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with an advisor. To do so, please log into your myLoneStar student account, click your Student tile, and under My Advisor click Schedule Appointment. If you are not currently a student, do not have an assigned advisor, or your assigned advisor does not have timeslots available, please email UPAdvising@LoneStar.edu to schedule an appointment. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments.

The Assessment Center provides testing services for placement tests, instructors' exams, equivalency testing, certifications, and out-of-district exams.

No testing will begin within one hour of closing. The last hour is reserved for closing out exams that are already in progress.

Continuing Education (B13.302)

Continuing Education consists of fast track certificates or courses to quickly train students for a high-demand job. Programs focus on the key technical and behavioral skills needed in the targeted occupation. Each certificate program includes either industry-recognized recognized certification, State or National occupational accreditation. Classes are offered, day, evening, hybrid, weekend, and online. A variety of certificates in Continuing Education can be completed in 6 months or less. 

Continuing Education also offers English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Highschool Equivalency Test Preparation (GED), Academy for Lifelong Learning (a program for seniors 50+) and LifePath (a program for students with cognitive learning disorders).

We are a nationwide network of passionate professionals working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. YMCA Children's Academy at University Park

At the YMCA Children's Academy at University Park, healthy child development starts early. That's why we offer preschool programs that help children, ages newborn to 5 years, learn the essential skills they will need later on in life. Our trained, supportive staff works to help every child have the best possible start to his or her education.

iSchool High at University Park gives students the opportunity to earn their high-school diploma and up to two years of college credit in four years — completely free

LSC-University Center at University Park

The LSC-University Centers offer junior, senior and graduate level classes through partnerships with several universities. Students who enroll with one of our partner universities are able to complete a bachelor's or master's degree (or teaching certificate) without traveling to the university campuses.
