LSC-Montgomery Theatre Department
The Lone Star College-Montgomery Theatre department provides a professional training experience for all students within the disciplines of acting, design and technology, and theatrical studies.
We stress that theatre is a collaborative art form with equal importance given to all roles - on stage and off. Students are encouraged to participate fully in all aspects of theatre production.
Blood Brothers
Wednesday, January 29 at 4:00pm in the Mainstage Theatre (D100)
Auditions are open to all members of the community. You do not have to be a Lone Star College student to audition.
Prepare a one-minute cut from a song from Blood Brothers or similar style Broadway musical. If you choose not to audition with a song from Blood Brothers, bring sheet music or have an accompaniment track prepared. Auditions will take approximately two hours, and you may be asked to stay the entire time. While it is highly preferrable that you attend the audition in person, if you are unable to attend, you may submit a video audition by noon on Tuesday, January 28.
Rehearsals are scheduled from 4:00-7:00pm Monday-Friday beginning Monday, February 10. Adjustments may be made to rehearsal times depending on cast availability. Performance dates are April 2-5, and we will not rehearse over Spring Break, March 10-14. The role of Mrs. Johnstone has been pre-cast.
For those interested in working on the technical crew, please attend a brief meeting on Wednesday, January 29 at 4:00pm in the Mainstage Theatre. You do not need to have anything prepared.
Contact Chase Waites at chase@lonestar.edu with any questions.
