Frequently Asked Questions

Using the Den

The following are frequently asked questions related to obtaining resources from The Den:

  • What kind of items are available at The Den?
    The Den currently has non-perishable food, personal care items, and school supplies.
     
  • Who can use The Den?
    All students who have an active Lone Star College-Tomball ID. Faculty and staff are also eligible.
     
  • What is the cost associated with using The Den?
    All resources are available to students, faculty, and staff FREE of charge. 
     
  • How frequently can someone use The Den?
    At this time, students who have an active Lone Star College-Tomball ID may apply every two weeks for resources. This usage policy may change based on resource availability.
     
  • How fast will I receive assistance?
    Our goal is to provide a 2-3 business day turnaround. Make sure to check your email as this is the communication method that we use to let individuals know that their request has been completed.
     
  • Where is The Den located?
    The Den is located in West 103.
     
  • I know of a student/coworker on campus who could use the assistance, but they are hesitant to apply for resources, what can I do?
    We understand that some individuals do not want to come to The Den so you can help by collecting some items for them. Please contact TC-CLASS@lonestar.edu directly. 
  • How long can someone use the pantry?
    As long as the individual needs assistance.
