What is a Mini-mester?
- Mini-mester: A shorter-term within the academic year.
- Duration: 3-4 weeks long taking place after the Fall and Spring semesters, in December and May.
- Courses: Cover same material as regular classes but faster.
- Purpose: Quick progress or catching up on credits.
- Flexibility: Provides options for students to explore new subjects or focus on specific topics.

Search for Classes
When searching for classes, select the Spring Term for the December Minimester and the Summer Term for the May Minimester. Use the left-hand navigation to choose a 3- or 4-Week Mini Session to display only the Minimester courses.

Students from other colleges and universities must apply to Lone Star College before class registration. Follow the Transfer to LSC admission process, then then register for a mini-mester or summer course.
Please note: If registration has closed, but the desired class is both open and hasn't started, contact an advisor for assistance because of the robust mini-mester schedule, students are only advised to enroll in one mini-mester class at a time. To enroll in multiple classes, please contact your program dean.
