The Student Success Institute (SSI) is a new program at Lone Star College designed to help students connect to the campus, reach key academic milestones and support students as they pursue their academic goals. SSI seeks to create academic, workforce and transfer pathway opportunities that will prepare students to persist, complete and maximize their contributions to society.

TRIO
The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO helps first-generation college students, low income students, and students with disabilities progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.

Community support, goal setting, emergency assistance for food, shelter and clothing, Crisis Intervention, Goal Setting, Social and Life Skills Support, Managing Stress, Anxiety, and Depression

The Den (LSC-Tomball on campus food pantry)
The Den is a student-run, staff-supported pantry that was developed to support LSC-Tomball students with non-academic needs. The Den is stocked with canned goods, pre-packaged meals, baby products, school supplies and personal hygiene items. The purpose of The Den is to minimize hunger and reduce financial worries among our campus community by providing free food and additional resources.
