This program reflects a curriculum revision that has been submitted for state authorization.


The Cloud Computing program prepares individuals to design and implement enterprise software systems that rely on distributed computing and service-oriented architecture, including databases and data management, web services, cloud computing, cloud security, mobile systems and applications, server administration, and web development. This program provides students with the skills needed for collaboration, problem-solving, and provides hands-on activities to give students a practical understanding of the latest technology to gain a competitive edge in today's IT job market. Upon completion, students have the practical knowledge they need to enter the workforce and be successful in the information technology sectors within a number of global industries.

The Cloud Computing Applied Science degree is awarded for successful completion of the 60 semester credit hours required in the degree plan. Certificates are offered that provide an opportunity to acquire technical skills in two to four semesters.

  • Students who are classified as First Time in College (FTIC) will complete EDUC 1300 - Learning Framework: First Year Experience.
  • Students who are not classified as First Time in College (FTIC) and have not yet demonstrated college-level readiness in reading and writing, will complete EDUC 1300 - Learning Framework: First Year Experience.
