LSC-North Harris Admissions & Records

The Lone Star College-North Harris Office of Admissions and Records manages student records and guides students throughout the admissions process. The office provides many services to students, including evaluating high school and college transcripts, SAT/ACT test scores, AP, IB, PLA’s, processing graduation applications, verifying enrollment, verifying residency requirements, and updating student records. The Office of Admissions and Records aims to ensure that all students' academic journey is seamless and well-documented.

Submit Official Transcript(s)

Official High School Transcripts

All students must submit their High School transcript with graduation date present to be considered official.

  • High School transcripts can be submitted by postal mail, in-person with a representative in the Admissions office, electronically or emailed directly from the institution to Registrar at: Registrar@LoneStar.edu.
  • An official transcript submitted on campus must be in its official sealed envelope from the institution to be accepted.
  • Home School transcripts must meet LSC transcript requirements to be accepted as official.

Official College Transcripts

  • Transcript waivers are only available for college level institutions.
  • Students must submit all official College transcripts from all institutions attending or previously attended.
  • Students unable to submit official college transcripts must contact an academic advisor or an admissions representative. By providing an unofficial transcript, it will allow the student to complete a transcript waiver for advising purposes only.
  • Using the transcript waiver does not remove the transcript hold and all registration must be done with an academic advisor.
  • Transcript waivers are valid for ONE semester and notated on the students record. An official transcript must be submitted before the end of the semester to continue registration.

New Student Orientation

  • Students must complete ALL prior checklist requirements before attending New Student Orientation.

All First-Time in College students must attend New Student Orientation.

Although it is recommended, transfer students are not required to attend.

New Student Orientation is an amazing opportunity to learn about LSC-North Harris, including the various resources, student clubs, and network with staff and students.

Residency

All residency information is gathered from the student’s application. Residency data determines the tuition that is assigned to each student.
