LSC-Kingwood Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassadors promote Lone Star College-Kingwood in the community as well as assisting prospective, incoming, and new students with their transition into the college. Their services include giving tours and answering questions about campus resources both on campus and in the community.

In order to be selected as a Student Ambassador individuals must:

  • be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • be available to volunteer 50 hours per semester (fall and spring)
  • be available to volunteer for some weekend and evening events

The role of an Ambassador is to assist prospective students and faculty/staff members. Responsibilities include offering campus tours to prospective students, attending campus events and social functions, assisting at graduation and at campus and community engagements. As our student population evolves and grows, so do the roles of our Ambassadors!
