The Lion Heart Assistance Effort headquartered in the Information Center has information for students, faculty and staff who have been affected by storms and flooding in our area. The Information Center is located near the entrance from Parking Garages 10 & 11.
Visit the Information Center if you have been personally impacted by the disaster to learn about other avenues of relief.
Hours are: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
A mobile FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is located in the parking lot at the rear of LSC-University Park’s Energy & Manufacturing Institute, 11521 Compaq Center West Drive, Houston, TX 77070. Hours are: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The center is closed on Sundays.
American Red Cross in Houston has shelters and a variety of services available at a site set up for the current Houston flood event at redcross.org/local/tx/houston/flood-information. This site also has information for individuals who want to volunteer or give money to help local flood victims.
