Services offered by the Extended Learning Center (ELC) include tutoring, access to advanced computer equipment and software, labs, seminars, and facilitated study groups.
Tutoring Programs
Although priority is given to Lone Star College-Montgomery students, tutoring services are offered free of charge to our community members. Program areas include:
- Business and Computers
- Math, Science, and Music
- Reading, Writing, and Lnguages
Computer Lab
The ELC possesses software for educational and research purposes and is staffed with knowledgeable tutors to assist in their use. The ELC is an excellent place to utilize and study computer technology. The computer lab contains a wide variety of software applications for both Windows and Macintosh users. Student Success Seminars

Facilitated Study Groups
Facilitated study groups are administered by professional ELC tutors. Sessions are free of charge, participative, and designed to empower students in their own learning.
