Students may earn up to 75% of their required coursework through PLA credit.
Lone Star College provides several programs of study options to receive college credit for your military training or experience through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) approval process. PLA provides students the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired through military experience, coursework, and training. If a program requires exceptional admission, students must be accepted by the program director before PLA credit can be awarded.
