Programs and Services
The Adjunct Center of Excellence supports the LSC-North Harris adjunct faculty and the greater educational community in their efforts to affect deep and positive learning. It is a collaborative and welcoming learning community which aims to influence effectiveness in teaching and promote innovation in teaching and learning.
The Lone Star College-North Harris Faculty and Staff Center helps all employees meet the challenges of the changing educational environment by serving as a clearing house for information, resources and training, and by acting as a source for innovation in instruction. In alignment with our mission, we seek to create and establish different programs and tools to offer faculty, administration, and staff, resources for long term professional development planning as well as solutions for short term and quick turnaround needs.
Provides a campus academic environment conducive to student success. We offer an array of resources designed to increase student success and completion including tutoring services to help to any student in need. Our mission is to assist students in becoming more independent, confident and efficient learners.
The LSC-North Harris Library provides access to resources that support a successful educational experience, promote information literacy, encourage critical thought, nurture the intellectual and cultural life of the community, and provide innovative and high quality services and program to meet the needs of the college and our diverse community of users.
Mi Casa Program is a nationally recognized, academic program co-sponsored by the University of California at Berkeley designed to help students adjust to college life and prepare for transfer to a four-year university.
Connecting students to the campus community, Acclimating them to the rigors of academic life, helping them Succeed and self-improve for the duration, and preparing them to Achieve and compete in college and beyond.
